Bellatrix growled from the back of her throat at his comment, leaving her wand where it was. She wasn't one to be ordered around by anyone but her Master. "You do realize that without this thing, you most likely wouldn't be here to tell me to put it away?" she pointed out harshly, losing her patience with this Muggle. He was rude, foolish, and entirely too disrespectful for her taste. She wished he'd hurry up with whatever he was doing so she could leave.
As the table began to shake, she rolled her eyes, snuffing the light beaming from her wand with a flick of her wrist. "What are you doing?" she hissed, not really in the mood to die today. "Are you trying to kill us both, you fool? Must you always press your luck when you don't know what in Merlin's name you're doing?"

Indiana rolled his eyes and turned back to the woman. "Alright, what's your problem? What have I done to you to make you so angry? Or is that just the way you are?" he asked. This woman was really starting to get on his nerves, almost as much as Meg was. "You know, nothing's keeping you here, so why don't you leave, if you want to so badly?" he asked, almost yelling at her.
Indiana was relieved to see that the woman hadn't stopped the table and necklace from shaking. "Oh, there's nothing to be afraid of!" he said, grabbing some matches. Suddenly, the necklace and the table stopped shaking and a medium sized gold statue appeared below the table. It was glowing, just like the necklace was. Indiana crawled underneath the table and pulled out the statue, excited.

"Your kind's very existance is enough to infuriate me!" Bellatrix barked back, eyes blazing with the passion seen only when completing a mission given to her by her Master. "My life's work is to eliminate all the Mudblood, traitoring filth from the world and create one of Pureblood dominance, in which my kind rule over you pathetic, useless Muggles!" She was halfway toward the exit before he even suggested leaving, too infuriated to toture the fool, which was saying something. If the dark witch known for her love of torment via the Cruciatus Curse was too enraged to use it, she was pretty darn angry. It'd be best to stay out of her way.
At his suggestion of being afraid, she whirled back around, whipping out a wand and shooting a stream of sparks in his direction. "I never once said I was afraid!" she cried. "Only pointing out your stupidity by toying with things you haven't the lsightest clue aobut! How dare you suggest I run in fear of anything!"

Hearing what the woman had just yelled in his face, Indiana raised his eyebrows. "Escaped from the asylum, didja?" he asked, grinning. Pretty much all of what this woman was saying sounded like gibberish to Indiana. But the one thing that did catch his attention was when she mentioned her kind ruling over whatever the Muggles were. It reminded him of Hitler and the Nazis. The thought made him disgusted.
To Indiana's surprise, the woman pointed her stick at him and some sort of light came out of it. He backed up and fell back against the statue he had just found. He had forgotten about the statue, but having been suddenly reminded of it, he turned to examine it.

"Prison, actually," Bellatrix sneered back, not appreciating his mouth at all. It reminded her far too much of the Potter brat and his Mudblood friend. A snarl came out under her breath at the thought. The last thing she needed was to deal with any of them now. "And I'd watch your mouth if I were you," she added, turning back around to leave again. She wasn't in any mood to deal with whatever else he had to say, nor did she have any interest in whatever it was he was poking around for. Muttering to herself, she turned to go up the corridor, then remembered the dizzying path she'd been lead down and swore, knowing she'd get miserably lost trying to figure her way back out. She hadn't been paying all that much attention on the way down. Not that she'd admit to this, of course.

Indiana nodded his head when he heard that the woman had been in prison. "Ah," he said, nodding," That explains it, then." No wonder the woman was out of her mind! She'd been in prison. He'd heard of a lot of people going mad in just a normal prison, but judging from the way this woman talked, it was probably something a little different.
Indiana simply laughed when the woman told him to 'watch his mouth.' He couldn't remember how many people(mostly girls) had told him to do that. But, of course, he never did what they told him to. That was just part of his charm. He turned and saw the woman still int he library. "I thought you were so eager to get away from me," he said, grinning and kneeling down next to the statue.
Indiana started examining it for anything that might be interesting or useful.

Bellatrix rolled her eyes at his comment, not bothering to respond. He wasn't worth her time. However, she knew that if she left the library, she'd be back to utter boredom. She needed something to occupy her time. What else was left but to poke around in that puney Muggle mind of his? He'd never know the difference. Crossing her arms and closing her eyes as if in boredom, Bellatrix probed into his mind, searching for anything of interest.
First and foremost it seemed were memories of a woman, who'd gotten into several messes with him. Mildred or Martha or something. It started with an M. Searching more, she stumbled upon a name and smiled satisfactorily. Marian, that was it. He seemed to be very interested in the girl Marian. In fact, after digging through his mind all that she could stand, it seemed that the majority of what he thought of or remembered revolved around her. How pathetic, she thought, extracting herself from his thoughts.
At his comment, she rolled her eyes. "Oh, believe me, I am," she responded with just as much sarcasm. "Now I know why Marian got sick of you," she muttered, just loud enough to where she knew he'd have heard it.

Hearing what the woman had said, Indiana froze. Oh, no...not another one of these. He didn't mind it so much with Pegasus because he liked Pegasus and he actually had a brain. And also, he could have chosen to mention any one of the awful thing that Indiana had been thinking about, but, no, he chose the least painful one to hear. And Indiana was thankful for that.
Indiana sighed, stood up and turned around. Marian was a sore subject with Indy. He loved her, but he knew that they just couldn't be together.
Plus, this lady had the story all wrong. "She didn't get sick of me," he said, angrily. "I left her." He didn't know why he was telling her this. He was so angry that he even forgot to be skeptical about how she found out about Marian.
