Defeated...again {Open} « Thread Started on Jun 17, 2008, 1:15pm »
Alucard growled as he woke up looking around himself. His blood red eyes narrowed. Where was he. More importantly, why could he no longer feel his Master? His blood red eyes pierced the shadows that surrounded him. He tried to move finding he couldn't. It was at that point he looked down at himself, seeing the straitjacket. Could it be? Had he once again been left to hibernate till being once more reawoken? Was that why he could no longer feel his 'master'.
None the less, he definitly wasn't moving from this spot for a while. Slowly he looked around himself seeing his coffin, its familar text a relief to him 'the bird of hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame'. As he started to count the bricks that surrounded him he felt himself growing drowsy and he soon fell asleep. As he slept he remembered his past. Tears of blood fell from beneath his closed lashes his teeth barred in pain as he remembered.
Once more he had been defeated. Once again.... he had lost........everything. He idly wondered whose footsteps his ears picked up even as he slept, waiting to be reawoken from his sleep. Would it be his Master? Had she arrived here... or would it be someone new.
He couldn't help but to bare his teeth slightly as he realised he no longer had that familar 'safe' feeling of his Master in his mind, that constant presence. That hurt. A constant painfilled reminder for the now sleeping Alucard. He had lost his home and everything....again.
Again he'd been defeated. It hadn't been to a man. Did that mean he wasn't dead? Or had all his bragging been proven wrong? He wasn't totally sure. Wasn't sure in his sleeping state if he bothered. Afterall.... he'd survived once hadn't he? He was....'alive' now? Surely that meant he hadn't been killed? But he'd always bragged that only a man could defeat a monster. And that wasn't true now. damn that Major and his nazi vampires.

Columbia had just arrived at the manor and figured that since she couldn't leave, she'd better make herself acquainted with the place. So far, she'd found out that the manor really was quite big. She had found a bathroom and tried to make herself presentable. Her corset kept slipping and her fishnets had plenty of holes in them. She'd discarded her shoes. One of the heels had broken and was keeping her from walking properly.
She'd made her way down to the cellar. She thought she'd heard someone - or something - making a noise. To her surprise, she found a man, or at least he looked like one, in a straight jacket. He was facing her. He could probably see her.. He looked rather frightening. Something about him reminded her of Riff Raff. Riff Raff had killed her. She thought she better she if he was alive. He looked like a corpse. "Are you okay?" she said in an abnormally quiet tone for her.

Alucard gave a soft growl in his sleep hearing a voice. In response to that he slowly allowed his eyes to open. damn, he was still here. This wasn't just some sick dream. He looked around himself as best as he could seeing a female stood there. He didn't recognise her either.
He felt the blood tear stains on his cheeks, moving to wipe them away, hopefully before she realised. That was when he found out he was in the straitjacket again.... well was reminded. He gave a low fustrated growl using his strength to rip his arms free at least before he started to wipe the tears of blood away.
He couldn't help but to give a sound of disgust at his own crying. Monsters never cry, how pathetic

Columbia heard him growl. It wasn't a pleasant sound. "Excuse m- " she began to say with concern. The next thing she knew, he'd broken from his straight-jacket. This "man" certainly was no man. She began to back up quiet quickly. She tripped over a broken chair and fell backwards onto her back. Oh, she was as good as dead. Perhaps she was about to enter Hell and this was the demon that would take her there. She'd read something about Heaven and Hell in one of the large books in Frank's library back at the castle. She had never believed in religion. Partly, because she had never been taught it at as child.
"Please, don't hurt me." she begged, scooting backwards until she hit a wall. He was a lot taller than her and very intimidating. If she wanted to live, she had better get up. She just couldn't. She'd never seen anyone break out a straight-jacket. Well, maybe Rocky.

Alucard glanced over at Columbia. "Pitiful," he muttered. He instinctively felt for the familar feel of his Master or his fledgling..... nothing. He lowered his head slightly his long untamed mane of hair falling over his eyes.
Mainly to hide his face as he started to feel the tears fall again. Once more his teeth barred slightly revealling his long canines that marked him for what he was. A vampire.

Columbia swallowed hard as he called her pitiful. Well, what was she supposed to do? He was absolutely monstrous. He was just plain scary. She saw him lean his head down. He looked... sad. She felt sorry for him and approached him. "Are you.. alright?" she asked, reaching out to touch him. She stopped when she saw his fangs. If the room wasn't so dark, she would try to find her way out of this terrible room.

Alucard raised his head slightly, his red eyes gleaming from beneath the mane. "I'll survive, as I always do," he muttered. "Even having lost everything, I'll survive as it is my curse to do so," he growled softly.
How he longed for death. But it would seem death didn't want this vampire. At least through death he'd not have to feel the pain of those he'd lost. Through death he'd no longer be alone.
But he'd been a fool all those years back. Not realising how beautiful death truly was. To be released from your body, and to not know the pain of loss. Looking back on hindsight, it would have been better had he died for his failure.
