Peter walked through the grounds, doing a little exploring and trying to clear his head. He came upon a small shed, strangely rustic compared to the magnificent mansion he had come from. He opened the door and saw why. The walls were covered in various tools. The place looked untouched by any but the spiders, and a small cloud of dust rose up when he walked in. It wasn't really that interesting, but it was private and quiet, a breath of fresh air compared to all the loud, mentally unstable people he had met thus far. He sat against the wall and closed his eyes, resting with a slight smile on his face.

The young girl looked around, confused. Her hair was disheveled and her dress was messed up after falling down from the sky. She couldn't remember anything that happened before being sucked up into a dark hole in the middle of space and time. What was this place? It seemed decent enough.
She walked around for a while to observe her surroundings. There was a large mansion, and near it, a tiny shack. She entered hesitantly, only to find out that this was a tool shed and there was a male resting. Nervously, she stammered, "I-I'm so sorry. Am I disturbing you?"
She added that last sentence, hoping that she didn't sound too rude. Violet Baudelaire took a deep breath, wishing that she would get out as of there soon.

Peter jumped, surprised by the girl's presence. Unfortunately, due to his location, his jumping caused his head to be gouged by a shovel hanging on the wall. "Crap!"He winced, feeling the back of his head. He felt the wound close itself up, courtesy of his rather odd powers. Jeez, did it really have to hurt so much? He blinked, suddenly remembering the girl standing there blushing. He stood up. "It's no problem, I just didn't realise you were there. You're not disturbing me, really. I'm glad for the company. I'm Peter." He extended his hand to shake, only to realise that there was blood on his hand. His eyes widened, and he started wiping off his hand on his jeans. "Sorry. What's your name?" He hoped she wouldn't notice that despite the blood, there was no wound on his head. (OOC: Sorry about the delay, I've been really busy.)

Peter smiled, chuckling slightly. "We are just outside a mansion, where no one really knows where we are or what's going on. There are people from different time periods, different countries... It's a pretty weird place. I've been here for maybe a week, just wandering around trying to figure out what's going on here." Peter noticed an old looking sink, presumably meant to clean off tools. He walked over to it, and started washing his hand. He didn't like having blood on him. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Violet. How old are you? You're one of the youngest people I've met so far."

The girl smiled, saying, "I'm sixteen. How old are you? You're the first person I've met here." She moved towards Peter and watched him wash his hands with curiosity. Her eyebrows furrowed as she asked, "Would you mind me asking where that blood came from?" He didn't seem like the type to go fighting but he was tired. Maybe there was somebody wounded inside. Whatever it was, Violet was glad that there was someone for her to talk to.

"I'm not really sure how old I am, if you don't mind me being honest with you. I've sort of had a recent... bout of amnesia, so I don't remember much... well, anything about my past." He shrugged sheepishly. His mind raced as to how he should answer her other question. He decided that honesty was the best policy. Worst came to worst, she would freak out and run away, and he'd be left the same as he was before she had shown up. "I hit my head on the shovel when you came in, and my head started bleeding. It didn't last long because I'm a... quick healer. I know it sounds unbelievable, but it's the truth." He watched her eyes and hoped she wouldn't freak. She had seemed somewhat level headed thus far...
